A cheerleading competition in the summer—what a treat! On top of that, it’s European cheerleading, and JAMfest Europe is giving out 2017 Worlds bids, Summit bids and even bids to the U.S. Finals! You can tune in to Varsity.tv on June 25 and 26 to catch all the action!

Nineteen bids are being awarded to cheer and dance teams over the two-day competition. Here's a breakdown of what's up for grabs:

2017 Cheer Bids:

• 1 partial-paid bid to Worlds
• 2 at-large bids to Worlds
• 2 paid bids to The Summit
• 1 at-large bid to The Summit 
• 7 paid bids to the 2017 U.S. Finals
• Multiple spirit, sportsmanship and choreography awards

2017 Dance Bids:

• 1 partial-paid bid to Worlds
• 2 at-large bids to Worlds
• 3 at-large bids to The Dance Summit
  

New this year, the highest-scoring team of the event will win the Jeremi Sanders High Point Award. This honor is in memory of Jeremi Sanders, who was a tremendous asset to the cheer and dance industry as JAMfest’s director of scoring for seven years. He worked tirelessly to create scoring systems that have been implemented throughout the sport. In addition, he was known for his compassion—nothing made him happier than seeing others succeed.


For those lucky people who get to attend, the venue has plenty of seating and great views of the performance floor. Echo Arena is close to hotels and shopping, which makes it a perfect venue for JAMfest Europe. A special perk is VIP seating on the floor for parents to get up close to watch their children perform.
