It's been an exciting weekend at the 2017 UCA and UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Orlando, Florida, and this couple is enjoying the view from the top. Jessie Ayala and Nick Lutz from Morehead State University will be heading back to Morehead, Kentucky, with not one but TWO national championship titles!



The talented duo kicked off its winning weekend with an impressive hit in the partner stunt competition and took home the championship title along with the Fan Favorite Award that is voted on by the viewers.

Saturday evening in Coed Division l Finals, MSU's coed team had the crowd on its feet with a showstopping performance that secured its spot as back-to-back national champion. The win marks the 25th national championship for the Morehead State coed team.

With the additional two national championships, the Morehead State cheerleading teams have added to their remarkable tradition of excellence, now holding 41 UCA titles since the program's start in 1988.
