Pacific Coast Magic Fantasy is headed home to the west coast for the USA All Star Championships March 18-19 and is working to capture a paid bid to The Cheerleading Worlds at the end of the season.

In 2008, Magic All Stars and Pacific Coast Cheer merged together to create Pacific Coast Magic. PCM now has locations in Southern CA, Northern CA, Arizona, Mexico, and most recently Costa Rica!

PCM has been a strong growing force in all star cheerleading from the start producing national champions at most of the major competitions.

Fantasy is looking forward to taking the mat at home in California. "PCM always loves competing at USA All Star. It is the West Coast's biggest and best competition." explained Troy Hedgren Pacific Coast Magic Fantasy Coach.

In 2006, USA All Star was the place where my team earned their very first Worlds bid!

The L5 Small Senior's season started a little slow due to challenges that kept them from taking the competition mat until February, but they have been growing and working to get better every day. "In January, we had to revamp our entire routine and get it ready for Spirit Sports in just 30 days, explained Hedgren.

Our team worked very hard and we stayed true to our character and we just keep getting stronger.

After placing second at Spirit Sports, the squad was awarded an At-Large bid to The Cheerleading Worlds. They are working to capture a paid bid at the USA All Star Championships.

PCM Fantasy is performing a fast paced routine jam-packed with creativity and difficulty. "Of course every team loves the dance, but I would say our favorite part is the elite stunt section. It has great movement and playful choreography, plus dynamite skills," said Hedgren.

Fantasy placed in the top 10 at The Cheerleading Worlds in 2016 with their best Worlds finish in 2013 where they earned 4th. They are working to make sure they land a spot in the top 10 in 2017.

"Our biggest goal is to continue to grow as individual athletes and as a team. We preach former UCLA Head Coach Wooden's definition of success and use it as our standard for judging our ultimate success." said Hedgren.
