We took care of family business before taking care of business on the field. -- Coach Joey Brown
On ordinary Friday nights, football players can be found running onto the field with the support of their fans and of course their cheerleaders. But this was no ordinary Friday night.

As the Foothill High School football team ran through the cheerleader's tunnel, each player placed an orange rose at the feet of Ashley Adamietz -- a senior cheerleader who'd been diagnosed with Myeloid Leukemia in August. Orange is the color of Leukemia Awareness.

Being a part of a team is so much more than athletic ability, hard work and talent. It brings out the character and cheerleader in all of us. Thank you, KRCR News Channel 7 and Evan Schreiber for spotlighting this beautiful story. #AshleyStrong
