And the moment the dance world has been waiting for...the U.S. national dance teams have been chosen!

USA Cheer has announced which teams will represent the U.S. in the dance divisions at the International Cheer Union (ICU) World Championships on April 26 in Orlando, Florida.

The U.S. national teams were back-to-back gold medalists in the hip-hop and freestyle divisions in 2015 and 2016.

The University of Kentucky - Premier Hip Hop and Pom divisions

UK Dance had top five finishes in both divisions this past year at the UCA and UDA College National Championship. Kentucky's memorable hip-hop performance left the crowd wanting more, and they'll get their wish in April! The UK dancers not only cheer on the football and basketball teams at games but also maintain an average GPA of 3.46!

Arizona State University - Premier Jazz division

The ASU Dance Team is always a strong competitor in the jazz division at the UCA and UDA College National Championship. The Sun Devils are bringing the heat back to Orlando this April to represent the U.S. national team. You can expect to see creative choreography from this strong, nationally ranked program. Arizona State represented the U.S. national team in 2013 and earned a gold medal. Get ready to cheer them on as they compete for a repeat title!
