Everyone knows what it's like when the arena is in full effect...the lights, the crowd, the intensity...BUT do you know what it's like to walk to ON DECK, to stand behind the giant video board, and to step on to the stage that all stars athletes everywhere talk about?

These are some of the things only the athletes that take the stage in the arena experience. THIS is what it's like to take the stage through the eyes of a competitor.

As you walk from practice room to ON DECK - you experience THE WALK. (this is the moment it all sets in... no turning back now)

As the teams make their way closer to the stage, they are greeted by a banner 'victory is just around the corner.' No but seriously...

Almost there...

YES - that is the back of the giant video board.

And then it's time to take the stage...unlike other competitions, the entrance is from the side not the center.

After teams load the on deck area and say their prayers, the coaches head down the curtained walkway to the coaches box...to wait.

AND THEN BOOM! Time to make some cheerleading routine magic.

And finally...after the performance of a lifetime, the team heads down a hall lit with the iconic NCA phrase, the work is worth it.
