The reigning Small Senior Restricted Level 5 UCA All Star and D2 Summit champions are heading to Orlando with hopes of bringing back and another black jacket from the 2017 UCA All Star Nationals! 

A new season is here, but the goals have stayed the same! The main goal is to HIT! Head Coach, Adam Stafford, feels that there is nothing is more exciting than a ZERO deduction routine. The team's second goal is to have identical success to last season by bringing home a D2 Summit bid from UCA Nationals.



The Rebels have trained all season for this and they're ready to show off their hard work! They spent the first part of the season focusing on perfecting tumbling technique and conditioning. The second half was spent working on stunting and putting it all together on the floor. They've run more full outs during practices this season and have stressed the importance of technique more than in years past.



Before heading to Orlando, the entire program spends time bonding to ensure that they will be performing as a unified team! Coach Adam believes that a lot of how the kids perform is based on how unified they are as a team. He shared what type of activities are happening at the River Cities gym over the next few days.

 Our Nationals send off is one of the most incredible experiences for our athletes, especially our Senior 5 team. Each cheerleader writes a letter to their teammates and the graduating seniors. It's a special moment to witness as the teams sit in a circle reading their letters.

River Cities has attended more UCA Nationals consecutively than any other program in the country! They've attended every year since 1994 and have adopted many traditions over the years. 

You can expect to see their favorite ritual if you pass any River Cities hotel room at the All Star Resort. Each athlete's windows and doors are decorated so that everyone knows that RC is in the house! This long-standing ritual is one of the things that gets the teams pumped up and motivated once they've arrived to the competition.
