USASF releases revised Age Grid rules for the 2017-2018 season!

NEWS: USASF Announces Revised 2017-18 Age Grid
Stay alert, cheer fans! USASF has made updates to the Age Grid for the 2017-2018 season, and released an official announcement on Friday, May 13th. Stay up-to-date post season and make sure you're following the newest guidelines as you make your evaluations for the upcoming season.

There was no minimum age for the Tiny, Mini, Youth and Junior divisions, but after listening to feedback from the cheerleading community, a minimum age has been set for each division. See the 2017-18 official USASF Age Grid below.

2017-2018 USASF Age Grid

Division Age
Tiny 5 - 6 years old
Mini 5 - 8 years old
Youth 5 - 11 years old
Junior 5 - 14 years old
Senior (non-Worlds Divisions) 10 - 18 years old

Another new change to the 2017-2018 Safety Guidelines is that in addition to the current rules, Tiny Pre-Teams (ages 3 to 6 years old) will also be allowed to compete. In years past, teams in this division have only been able to exhibition.
