1. Get enough rest the night before practice

2. Fuel your body

3. Give yourself a schedule

Get to practice in enough time to mentally prepare yourself and to receive any pre-practice treatment. The worst way to start practice is rushed and unprepared. Give yourself a set time to get in the zone before taking the mat.

4. Find your jam

The warmup is where it starts. Find your go-to jam and play some motivating music that pumps you and the team up before practice begins.

5. Have a solid warmup routine

Having a warmup routine will help to put you in the practice state of mind each practice. Use a dynamic warmup to get your heart pumping and your muscles warm before taking on any skill.
