You could tell it was almost time for dress rehearsal as the models were wandering about the room taking photos, messaging their moms and chatting excitedly. We arrived about 2 hours before show time. The hair and make-up chairs were full, bobby pins were flying and the show producers were doing their final checks -- it was about time for the Varsity Spirit Fashion models to the runway.



This year the show's theme was spirit rally complete with a marching band and the UCF cheerleading and dance team! Backstage the models were getting into their first looks, making last minute finishing touches as the attendees entered the beautifully lit room looking for a front row seat. There wasn't a bad seat in the house as the giant stage, video screens and lighting spanned the entirety of the room.

As the show kicked off, the audience clapped to the beat as the models worked the runway in their brand-new uniforms and campwear. They kept the energy up as model after model showed off their many looks. And just as we thought the show was over, the host led the group in an epic mannequin challenge where only the confetti softly falling from the ceiling made a move.
