Q&A with Kennedy Thames:

FloCheer: Tell us about your cheerleading career:

Kennedy Thomas: I've been cheering since I was 4 years old. I started competitively cheering when I was 10 where I started at a gym that only had level 1 and 2 teams and eventually found my home at Rockstar.

How are you feeling going into Worlds?

I'm feeling very confident! My team has been focused on taking corrections and being coachable. We've all been very supportive of each other and continue pushing to hit our routine during practices.

What is your favorite skill that you will be performing in the routine?

I honestly love my entire routine, but my favorite part would have to be my elite stunt! I have an amazing stunt group and choreography that makes flying so much fun!

Future cheerleading plans?

Next year will be my senior year, and I plan to cheer at Rockstar! I haven't fully decided where I want to go to college but hopefully somewhere with a successful cheerleading program. I plan to major in business and marketing and would love to remain in the cheer world!
