The BIG Moments From Small Coed At Worlds
Take a look back at how the Small Senior Coed 5 division unfolded at The Cheerleading Worlds.
All hail the Small Senior Coed 5 World Champs! Brandon Senior Black wowed the crowd for a second year in a row and was the only Senior squad to repeat their world championship success in 2017.
Can you believe it's been one month since Worlds? We can't either, but before we start our countdown for next season, let's relive Small Coed action from The Cheerleading Worlds.
KC Cheer Fierce Five gave us a glimpse of what they would bring to the Worlds mat after finishing third at UCA All Star. When it came time for Worlds, the squad was in sixth coming out of Semi-Finals and needed to make a major jump if they wanted to land a place on the podium. Fierce Five's seamless transitions and 'fierce' dance at Finals helped earn the bronze medal at The Cheerleading Worlds.
Prodigy All Stars Midnight has stayed on our radar all season after placing second at The MAJORS and third at NCA All-Star; we knew they would be a top team come Worlds.
Their opening tumbling mixed with their show-stopping elite stunt sequence helped them take home silver.
Brandon Senior Black was an obvious division front runner after their undefeated 2016 season and strong performance throughout the year. Black held on to their winning streak all year long except for one second place standing behind Twist & Shout Diamonds at NCA All-Star Nationals.
