Can Lady Lightning Strike Twice?

Ever since the second year of The Cheerleading Worlds, the Senior Small All Girl division has drawn in fans with its unforgettable performances and unpredictable results. If one thing’s for sure, it’s that the L6 Senior Small division will have you on your toes guessing who will take home the next World Championship title.

With a max of 22 athletes on the floor at a time, the pressure is on and there's no room for mistakes.

For the first eight years that the division existed, the Senior Small World Championship title was always won by either The Stingray Allstars or Cheer Athletics. In 2013, The California All Stars Lady Bullets put on a legendary performance in Finals to claim the championship title.

Since 2014, the gold medals have gone to either ICE Lady Lightning or Cheer Extreme SSX with the exception of 2015 when the Generals from Woodlands Elite took the top spot.

Cheer Extreme SSX went on a winning streak claiming three back-to-back titles from 2018-2021 but the Midwest favorites from ICE Lady Lightning ended their run in 2022 with a show-stopping hit in Finals to earn their third World Championship title with a Final Score of 143.15.

Which L6 Senior Small team will win big at The Cheerleading Worlds 2023? We can't wait to find out!
