The countdown to the 2024 Cheerleading Worlds is getting smaller & smaller as the big weekend is almost here! One division that is always a fan favorite year after year is the L6 Senior XSmall division. The first World Champions in this division were crowned back in 2018, and the division has continued to grow each season.

The Senior XSmall & XSmall Coed divisions were first announced ahead of the 2017-18 season. One season later, the USASF announced the division was open to all programs, and that the division would allow teams to compete with up to 16 athletes. Cheer Express Miss Silver made history becoming the first team ever named World Champions in L6 Senior XSmall at the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds.

The Cheerleading Worlds did not take place in 2020 due to COVID-19, but ever since 2021 it has been all about the girls who have no fear - South Coast Cheer Fearless! Fearless continues to find success winning major title after major title at competitions across the nation. Fearless won their first-ever World Champion title in 2021 as Pacific Coast Magic Fearless. In 2022, the program became South Coast Cheer and protected their title to become back-to-back World Champions. They are 3x World Champions with wins from 2021-2023, now aiming to earn their fourth title in a row in the L6 Senior XSmall division.

Fearless has put up some impressive undefeated winning streaks, however this season has been a show like no other in the division. South Coast Cheer Fearless and The California All Stars Vixens have made this division ultra competitive. The two teams continue to battle hitting perfect zero deduction routines to put on an incredible show. Two teams also know each other quite well as they both come from the West Coast. Fearless was undefeated all season this year, until The California All Stars Vixens jumped in to take the win at the Aloha Grand Nationals in March. Vixens has globed two times at The Cheerleading Worlds including a silver globe in 2021, and a bronze globe in 2023, however they have never won a World Championship.
