Everything You Need To Know About L6 Senior Small At The Cheer Worlds 2024

11 teams are set to take the stage in the L6 Senior Small division at the 2024 Cheerleading Worlds. Learn all you need to know about the division here.

If there's one thing you can count on year after year...it's the L6 Small Senior division putting out show-stopping routines! The long-time fan-favorite division is ready to take the stage once again at the 2024 Cheerleading Worlds this weekend. Lightning already struck twice with the back-to-back World Champions ICE Lady Lightning, but can it strike for a three-peat? It's almost time to find out!

The L6 Senior Small division is full of so much incredible history. The division goes all the way back to the second year of The Cheerleading Worlds. The Stingray All Stars Orange had an impressive run winning four gold medals in a row from 2007-2010. The California All Stars Lady Bullets had an unforgettable year in 2013 winning the team's first-ever gold medal in the division. Lady Bullets have been a known contender finishing on the podium for several years including 2 silver medals, and three bronze medals. The Lady Bullets are returning to the division after not competing in 2023.

Cheer Extreme SSX is always a contender in the division winning three gold medals in a row from 2018-2021. After finishing in second place at the 2023 Cheerleading Worlds, Cheer Extreme SSX is hungry to fight for the gold. ICE Lady Lightning has been on the rise the last few season claiming back-to-back World Championship titles. Lady Lightning will aim to make it three in a row this weekend.

There's a new kid on the block this season, but not an unfamiliar one! East Celebrity Elite Bombshells joined the division for the first time ever this season after competing in the L6 Senior Medium division. Bombshells are two-time World Champions in the L6 Senior Medium division claiming the gold in 2017 & 2019. This team has made some noise all season long in the L6 Senior Small division picking up big wins at NCA All-Star Nationals, Spirit Cheer Super Nationals and Spirit Fest Grand Nationals and are definitely a team to keep an eye on this weekend.
