This year's Cheerleading Worlds 2024 is set to feature thousands of athletes from more than 500 cheer teams across the world over the course of the four-day event from April 26-29. Cheer Worlds will also be celebrating its 20th Anniversary of what's considered the biggest cheer event of the year. 

 The Cheerleading Worlds was started in 2004 with just two divisions consisting of Senior All Girl Level 5 and Senior Coed Level 5 in 2005. Now Cheer Worlds host more than 20 divisions to teams from more than 25 countries.

Being invited to participate in the Cheerleading Worlds is one of the highest honors that can be earned, and it’s a goal for countless competitive cheer teams each year. The event recognizes the work, expertise, athleticism, and determination that define All Star cheerleading. 

All the action this weekend will be returning to Orlando, Fla. at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The Cheerleading Worlds 20th Anniversary

The Cheer Worlds was created in 2004 with just 14 teams and two divisions Senior Coed Level 5 and Senior All Girl Level 5. Cheer Athletics won the first ever Cheer World Championship in 2004 and will be competing at the 2024 Cheer Worlds as well.  

Cheer Worlds has grown to hosting over 10,000 athletes at this weekend's upcoming event with more than 500 teams.
