Champion Cheer Brings Community Together
Champion Cheer Brings Community Together
The Champion Cheer All Stars create a community event to support Text Free for Tita and their special needs program!
The Champion Cheer All Stars in Texas wanted to create a community event where everyone was welcome into their tight-knit cheer family. While they were making plans, the Champion Cheer All Stars realized they had two very worthy causes that could use some support and awareness.
On National All Star Cheer and Dance Day, the program hosted a community event at their Justin gym location. The event proceeds were to be split between the gym's special needs program, which performs at many events during the season such as NCA All-Star Nationals in Dallas, and the Text Free for Tita program, which raises awareness and encourages drivers to put their phones down and keep their focus on the road when behind the wheel.

The Champion Cheer family tragically lost All Star team member Tita Lourdes Shaffer and her mother, Emma, last April. The two were truly loved by all.

To raise funds and bring the community together, the coaches, team, and volunteers brought in bounce houses, face painting, vendors, a dunk tank, and more…It was a carnival event to celebrate two programs that are very near and dear to the Champion program's heart.
The event was a success! It was the perfect way to celebrate National All Star Cheer and Dance Day and kick off the season with high hopes for success on and off the mat. Visit championcheerallstars.com to learn more about Champion Cheer and the Text Free For Tita program.
