Knowing that I always had someone on my team rooting for me to become the best athlete I could be was very special!

Good cheer-genes run in a lot of families, but the Love sisters hit the genetic jack pot. Daughters of the world famous Debbie Love, these girls have made a name for themselves via hard work, insane tumbling and basket skills, and of course their sisterly bond that brings double the talent (you thought we were going to say trouble? Nah - not with these ladies).

These uber talented cheerleading phenoms are the package deal and have been tumbling and cheering alongside each other for years. They've cheered together on Kentucky Elite, pep club, Showtime Spirit, Kentucky Allstars, Twist & Shout and of course, Oklahoma State University! Now, Whitney Love (now Lund) coaches her sister Britni Love at OSU. Britni told us what it was like growing up on the mat with her sister.

Cheering with my sister is something that I cherish greatly! Knowing that I always had someone on my team rooting for me to become the best athlete I could be was very special! Now that she is my coach, the dynamics have changed slightly and I have the opportunity to look to her for guidance and advice on circumstances I may come to that she has most likely already experienced.

The two sisters just recently returned home from Daytona Beach with a 2nd place title in the most difficult division at NCA College Nationals. They both have multiple national titles to their name, but you'd never know it from their humble demeanor. Whitney believes cheering and competing together has strengthened their sibling bond.

Growing up cheering with Britni truly allowed us to become best friends. We are complete opposites in every aspect of life so not only do we share everything with each other, we have the ability to provide advice from different perspectives.

From the good times, the arguments, and the tears we've shared together.. it's all an opportunity for us to mature into the people God intended us to be.

So there you have it. Two sisters with matching genes and a matching spirit. Happy Sibling Day, and a special shout out to the cheer siblings out there who cheer side-by-side!
