The Ultimate Finale Of L6 Senior Open Large Coed at Cheerleading Worlds

During the 2018-2019 season, USASF and IASF introduced a set of new divisions that would revolutionize The Cheerleading Worlds. Top programs from across the country debuted new teams that would soon become fan favorites, especially in the Level 6 Senior Open Large Coed division.

Teams in the Level 6 Senior Open Large Coed division can have up to 24 members on the mat at a time and range in age as long as you meet the minimum requirement of being 15 years old.

With the new division, came new World Champions. In the debut season for the Level 6 Senior Open Large Coed division, the gold medal went home with the Wildcats from Cheer Athletics while Stars Vipers Anacondas took home silver, and Charlottle All Star Cheerleading Teal earned the bronze.

The Cheer Athletics Wildcats took the Level 6 Senior Open Coed Large division by storm with their impressive tumbling, high energy, and innovative stunts that led the team to dominate. The Wildcats set the bar for difficulty and technique in this new division, earning them a second World title in 2021.

In 2022, Top Gun All Stars Revelation made the move from L6 International Open Small Coed to L6 Senior Open Large Coed which would create a ripple effect across the division and the standings as we knew it. Revelation brought the heat with each competition they attended and caught everyone's eye when they took down the reigning World Champions at the 2022 NCA All-Star National Championship. Revelations' success didn't stop there, the Orlando-based team continued to be a powerhouse everywhere they went and by the end of the 2022 season, they were declared the new L6 Senior Open Large Coed World Champions, officially de-throning the Wildcats.

The 2023 Cheerleading Worlds will be the last time we see this division as we have all come to know it. Beginning in the 2023-2024 competition season teams in open divisions will move to either the International Open divisions (ages 18+) or the Senior divisions (up to 19 years old).
