In Game 2 of the 2023 USA Cheer STUNT National Championship, St. Mary's University faced off against the seasoned program Oklahoma Baptist University!

OBU Takes Down St. Marys 24-0 In Game 2 Of College STUNT Nationals

The 2023 USA Cheer DII, DIII & Club STUNT National Championship, one of the most exciting and highly anticipated events has kicked off today at The University of Texas at Dallas!

This is the first year STUNT has separated the DII Championship from DI and taking on Game 2 in this division was #2 seed Oklahoma Baptist vs. #7 seed St. Mary's, who is a team of predominately freshmen and are taking on STUNT Nationals for the very first time!

Oklahoma Baptist started off strong with Partner Stunts sweeping the first quarter 4-0 against St. Mary's.

Quarter 2 started off with Pyramids and Tosses. The teams began with the #7 routine which is the second hardest in this quarter! While the Rattlers put up a good fight they did have a few modifications. The quarter finished out with OBU taking all 4 points making the score of the first half 8-0!

The second half started out with Jumps and Tumbling. St. Mary's put on a fierce competition but ultimately the Bisons extended their lead in quarter 3 making the score 12-0!

The teams finished out the 4th quarter 24-0 with the Bison moving on to Game 6 against #3 Dallas Baptist.
