What was supposed to be the first game of the day between Ashland University (4) and Concordia University, Irvine (5) here at the 2023 USA Cheer DI, DII, & Club STUNT National Championship turned into the third D2 Game to take place due to a series of flight delays because of inclement weather. 

Even with a delay, this match-up was one we couldn't wait to see!

The game started out with Concordia choosing routine 6 and a forfeit from Ashland. Concordia had two falls so the points went to no one. Ashland then chose routine 2 but the point ultimately went to Concordia Irvine making the score 1-0. Ashland forfeited once more as the Golden Eagles went for routine 6. In the last round of the Partner Stunt section Concordia Irvine took the point making the score after round one 2-0! 

The Pyramid and Tosses section started off strong as both teams performed routine 7! Though both teams were in fierce competition Concordia finished on top with a score of 6-0.

After the half, the Ashland Eagles gained 3 points in the tumbling section finishing the 3rd quarter 8-3!

The 4th quarter consists of all three quarters put into one routine and each segment is scored individually. After the first round Concordia took all three points leading the game by 8! As the quarter ended The Golden Eagles won against the Ashland Eagles 20-4!
