NCA All-Star Nationals Moves To January In 2026

NCA All-Star Nationals, held at the Kay Bailey Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, will be moving to January for 2026. Varsity announces new Houston event.

Big changes are coming to the All Star cheerleading world in the next few years.  Varsity All Star announced that the NCA All-Star National Championship, hosted at the Kay Baliey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, will be moving to January in 2026. 

Despite the date change, the event will continue to be held in Dallas at the Kay Baliey Hutchinson Convention Center from January 9-11, 2026. The announcement confirmed that this change is scheduled for one year only with the competition returning to it's traditional February slot in 2027.

The announcement does not impact the upcoming 2024-2025 competition season, the 2025 NCA All-Star National Championship will take place at KBHCC on February 28 - March 2, 2025.

Varsity All Star Event Date Changes For 2026

Along with the date change in 2026, Varsity All-Star will be adjusting the date for the Encore Grand Nationals in Houston, Texas, which is typically held in December. Encore Grand Houston will temporarily shift, for one year only, to February 26-28, 2026.

The American Legacy Nationals will also move to February 26-28, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Varsity All Star Announces Spirit Sports Houston 2025

Varsity All Star announced a brand-new event for the upcoming 2024-2025 all star season. Spirit Sports Houston will debut in December 2025 and will coincide with the traditional weekend for Encore Grand Nationals. Spirit Sports Houston will also be a two-day event held in conjunction with Groove Nationals for all star dance teams.

When Is NCA All-Star Nationals 2025?

The 2025 NCA All-Star National Championship will take place at the Kay Baliey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, Texas on February 28 - March 2, 2025.

When Is NCA All-Star Nationals 2026?

The 2026 NCA All-Star National Championship will take place at the Kay Baliey Hutchinson Convention Center from January 9-11, 2026
