The Story of Celebrity Cheer:

"We came from a small barn practicing with one mat during COVID, to becoming a known & well-organized gym! From the humblest beginnings to the brightest stages — our journey has been nothing short of magical. We opened our doors just before COVID practicing that very first year in a barn-turned-wedding venue. We started with just a few novice and prep teams, but with every practice, every ounce of heart, and every push to be better, we’ve grown into NCA, CHEERSPORT, and Summit champions in just six short years. The grit, the love, and the dedication our athletes have poured into this program… well, it’s enough to make us tear up when we think about it. Our coaches, families and athletes have poured our hearts into growing beginner All Star cheerleaders to the amazing athletes they are today."

Amber Urey and Bethany Wilkerson are not only sisters and best friends, but also gym owners. After a lifetime of cheering together—including their final season on Maryland Twisters Black Ice—their passion for the sport now lives on through the athletes they coach.
