The Story of Omni Elite Athletix: 

"Omni Elite Athletix first opened its doors in 2014 in the small but growing town of Indian Trail, North Carolina. What began as a single gym with a big vision has transformed into a thriving program that has quickly become a cornerstone of the community. Over the years, Omni has built a strong reputation for excellence in cheerleading and tumbling instruction, providing athletes of all ages and skill levels with a safe, supportive, and motivating environment to grow not only as athletes, but also as individuals.

Through dedication, experienced coaching, and a focus on teamwork, discipline, and confidence-building, Omni has seen tremendous growth. Our athletes have continued to achieve new milestones, both on and off the mat, which has helped establish Omni Elite Athletix as a name recognized for quality training and community spirit.

Thanks to this continued success and support, Omni expanded in 2024 by opening a second location in Greenville, North Carolina. Now entering its very first season, the Greenville gym carries forward the same mission and values that have been the foundation of Omni since the beginning. With two locations, Omni is proud to serve even more athletes and families, offering opportunities for growth, competition, and lifelong friendships.

Fun Facts about Omni Elite Athletix: 

• Longtime Coaches: Three of our coaches have been with Omni since the very beginning in 2014. Two of them grew up in the program, cheering all the way until they graduated high school, while another has been coaching here continuously since day one. Their dedication and love for the sport are a huge part of what makes our gym feel like family.
• Merging for Growth: In 2020, Omni merged with another gym, bringing in an incredible group of talented athletes and coaches. This merger not only elevated the skill level of our program, but also strengthened our culture of teamwork, growth, and community.
• Senior Tradition: Each year, our senior cheerleaders take part in a special tradition by signing our gym wall during the Summit showcase. It’s a meaningful way for them to leave their mark, celebrate their journey, and inspire the next generation of athletes coming behind them.

What Makes The Program Special:

What makes Omni Elite Athletix truly special is our philosophy: we celebrate the little wins. While trophies and titles are exciting, they’re only a small part of what we strive for as a program. At Omni, we believe every milestone matters—from learning a new skill for the first time to overcoming fears and building confidence. Those everyday victories are the heart of our program and the foundation of our athletes’ growth.

More than anything, we want to give our athletes an environment where bonds and relationships come first. We value the friendships built on the mat just as much as the skills performed on it. Our gym is a place where athletes feel supported, encouraged, and part of something bigger than themselves. We teach our teams that success is not just measured in medals, but in the character, resilience, and teamwork they develop along the way.

Omni is proud to be a program that balances strong, competitive training with a family-like atmosphere. Our coaches care deeply about every athlete, not only as cheerleaders, but as individuals. We create opportunities for athletes to grow in confidence, leadership, and sportsmanship, preparing them for success both in cheerleading and in life.

At the end of the day, our greatest accomplishment is seeing our athletes leave the gym smiling, knowing they are valued, celebrated, and supported in everything they do. That’s what makes Omni Elite Athletix different—our commitment to people first, performance second, and a love for the journey above all else. 

Biggest Goal For The Season: 

Something we are especially looking forward to this year is showcasing the amazing talent of our athletes. Each season brings new opportunities for growth, creativity, and team bonding, and this year is no different. Our gym-wide theme, “Race Car,” has been such a fun and unique way to kick off the season. It’s been incredible to watch our choreographer and athletes bring the theme to life with energy, passion, and originality—it truly sets the tone for the year ahead.
