FloCheer's Early-Season Rankings

The wait is over, and the first showcases of the season have taken place! Our first set of early-season rankings is live, and let’s just say… the cheer world had thoughts. 

We’ve seen your comments, your reactions, and yes... even a few “Wait, how did they come up with this?!” messages. So, let’s break it down! These rankings are meant to spark excitement, celebrate the grind, and get fans talking as we head into a brand-new, highly anticipated season.

Who Decided the Rankings?

The FloCheer staff (aka your fellow cheer-obsessed insiders) collaborated to create these early-season rankings. Our team watches, analyzes, and cheers right alongside you, and we take this process seriously... but not too seriously. 😉

These pre-season rankings are meant to highlight who’s turning heads early, not to define the rest of the year.

What We Considered

Our decisions weren’t random. We took into account several key factors to paint the best early picture of where teams stand right now, including:

  • Instagram Sneak Peeks: Those teaser videos and training clips? We see them! Social media gives fans a glimpse at new skills, stunts, and upgrades that can impact early momentum.

  • Previous Competition History: Consistency and legacy matter. Teams with a strong track record often come out of the gate ready to dominate, and that plays a role.

  • Showcase Performances: Early performances (both big showcases and smaller previews) help us see who’s ready to bring the fire this season. But our rankings are not limited to showcases! 

  • Athlete Rosters: Team composition matters! Returners, rookies, and powerhouse additions can all shift a team’s trajectory heading into the season.

Of course, this isn’t an exact science. It’s a blend of insight, research, and good old-fashioned cheer intuition.

Remember, It’s Just the Beginning!

This is just the starting line, not the finish. There’s plenty of time for teams to rise, surprise, and shake things up as competition season gets underway.

Pre-season rankings are all about fueling the hype and celebrating the incredible talent across the division. Whether your team is sitting at the top or ready to climb, one thing’s for sure: it’s going to be an exciting season.

So keep posting, keep training, and keep bringing the energy, because FloCheer will be watching (and cheering) every step of the way.
