Through a challenging early slate, Randolph-Macon has compiled an undefeated record while earning key victories over ranked opponents. The squad opened the season with a narrow 62-59 win to secure the Gettysburg Tip-Off Tournament title, then followed up by handling other competitive programs. A dominant 85-50 victory over No. 8 Hampden-Sydney and a road win against No. 9 Christopher Newport highlighted a stretch where the Yellow Jackets beat multiple top-15 teams.
Beyond the results, the Yellow Jackets have shown balance and depth in scoring, defense, and offensive execution. A key part of R-MC’s success has been senior guard Jabril Robinson. Robinson’s scoring punch and on-court leadership have been pivotal, earning him ODAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after a weekend where he scored 24 points against Hampden-Sydney and added another 15 in a close game with Roanoke. During that stretch, Robinson shot efficiently and contributed across the stat sheet with assists, steals, rebounds, and a block, while also reaching a milestone with 1,000 career points.

Look Ahead: RMC Hosts Misericordia on Dec. 29
As December winds down, the Yellow Jackets will return to Ashland to host the RMC Coaches Tournament, opening with a matchup against Misericordia University on Dec. 29 at 4:00 p.m. in Crenshaw Gymnasium.
The Cougars, a competitive Division III squad with their own non-conference schedule and experience against a range of opponents this season, will present a new look for Randolph-Macon as the Jackets continue to build momentum heading into January.
