In 2026, The Dance Worlds will revisit the familiar Coronado Springs Resort & Convention Center (part of the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida), giving competitors and their guests the opportunity to see how they stack up against teams from around the world, while everyone gets to share in the magic of Walt Disney. 

The event will take place April 24-27, and all of the action will be broadcast live on FloCheer!

As the 2025-26 season comes to a close, individuals and teams will pull out all the stops, performing their most challenging routines in a top-tier venue.

Dancers looking to claim championships in contemporary/lyrical, high kick, hip hop, jazz, pom and junior dance will take the stage at the Convention Center at the Coronado Springs Resort and battle to be the best, just as their predecessors have done since the inaugural event in 2007.

The competition has grown from 50 teams to more than 400 representing 25 countries.

The Coronado Springs Resort & Convention Center offers more than just a competition venue. 

The hotel-convention center combo allows for the ultimate convenience, while the property also features complimentary buses to all of the Disney theme parks, complimentary Wi-Fi, pools and poolside activities, campfires, outdoor movies, volleyball and other family-friendly activities to keep everyone entertained.

The Coronado Springs Resort also has 10 on-property restaurants.

When it’s time to compete at The Dance Worlds, however, the facility is top-notch.

The Convention Center at the Coronado Springs Resort features more than 220,000 square feet of meeting space, which includes two ballrooms, an exhibit area and 45 breakout rooms. The venue can fit more than 6,500 guests.

When it’s time for fun, everything is very close by. 

Walt Disney World alone offers four magical theme parks – Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. That’s enough to keep everyone busy for days and days, and there are some great prices/deals available through the competition that will allow everyone to stay and play in style.
