The Story of Airborne Elite All Stars:
Eleven years ago, our owners, Kelly Foy and Joan Lenahan, decided to take a leap of faith and follow through on their dream of opening a gym. When opportunity knocked and a small building, just big enough for one floor, became available, they seized it. With only one athlete in the program at the time—Joan’s daughter, Emma—they began building their dream from the ground up.
What started with one athlete and a dream has grown into something far greater than we ever could have imagined. Over the past 11 years, we have built strong teams, created incredible family bonds, earned Summit finalist titles, won an NCA title, moved into two different buildings, and established ourselves as a strong D2 program making a name for ourselves in competitive cheerleading.
But our greatest accomplishment has never been a title or a trophy, it has been the people who have grown with us along the way. We pride ourselves on being a gym where athletes become family and where commitment, relationships, and growth extend far beyond a single season. We are incredibly proud to have four athletes who have been with us for 10 years, with more athletes joining that list every year. Our very first athlete, Emma, is now a graduating senior this season. A full-circle moment that means more to us than words can express. We are also fortunate to have coaches who have been part of the Airborne family since day one, helping shape the culture and legacy of our program.
At Airborne, we are a loving gym that pours everything we have into every athlete who walks through our doors. We believe every athlete deserves to feel seen, supported, challenged, and believed in. We want to help our athletes become not only better cheerleaders, but better people. Our goal is to see them succeed on the mat and in every aspect of life beyond it.
Eleven years later, what began as one athlete, one small building, and one big dream has become a family, a legacy, and a program that continues to grow. We are incredibly proud of where we have been, excited for where we are going, and most proud of the athletes and families who have made Airborne Elite what it is today.

What Makes The Program Special:
Airborne has truly grown from the ground up, and we take tremendous pride in our journey. We celebrate every athlete, coach, team, accomplishment, and milestone that has helped shape our program into what it is today. We believe our history matters, and we make a point to honor the people who came before us while continuing to build something for the athletes who come next.
What makes Airborne special is that we make every accomplishment meaningful. Whether it’s a major championship, a new skill, a personal breakthrough, or simply an athlete overcoming something they once thought they couldn’t—we find a way to celebrate it and make it fun and memorable for our kids. We want our athletes to look back on their time here and remember not only what they accomplished, but how they felt while they were doing it.
We are a program that genuinely invests in our athletes. We care about who they are as people just as much as who they are as cheerleaders. We build relationships, create traditions, celebrate the little things, and work hard to make every athlete feel like they belong. Our goal is to create an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, loved, and proud to be part of something bigger than themselves.
At the end of the day, our greatest strength is our family. Athletes grow up here, coaches become lifelong mentors, families become friends, and memories are made that last far beyond a competition season. We are proud of where we've come from, proud of the family we've built, and excited to continue growing together.
What Are You The Most Proud Of?
More than anything, we are most proud of the family and community we have built. Our families are truly bought into who we are as a program, and our retention is something we are incredibly proud of. Every year, we have 10 or more athletes celebrating five years with Airborne, we currently have four 10-year athletes, and we will be adding even more athletes to that list after this season.
That longevity means so much to us because it shows that athletes and families aren’t just choosing Airborne for a season—they are choosing to grow with us. We are incredibly proud of our coaching staff and the relationships they build with our athletes. We have coaches who have been part of our family for 5–9 years, and their commitment, passion, and genuine investment in our athletes is a huge part of what makes our program special. Our coaches don’t just teach skills; they mentor, encourage, challenge, and support our athletes through every stage of their journey. They know our athletes as individuals and truly care about helping them become the best versions of themselves, both on and off the mat.
Our front desk is another example of the family we have created. Miss Karen has been with us for all 11 years, and even after her daughter graduated from our program in 2020, she stayed. She is still the first face you see when you walk through our doors today. She has watched countless athletes grow up, graduate, and move on, and she continues to be such an important part of our Airborne family.
One of the things that makes us most proud is seeing our athletes graduate and continue to come back. Former athletes visit the gym, come to watch practices and competitions, and stay connected with the coaches and athletes because they genuinely miss and love the people and the environment here. To us, that is the greatest compliment our program could receive.
We are proud of the championships and accomplishments, but we are even more proud of the relationships that last long after an athlete's final competition. Our goal has always been to build something that feels like home, and seeing athletes continue to choose to be part of our family—even after they have graduated—is something we will never take for granted.
