FloDance is shining light on incredible All Star dance programs that help elevate the All Star space and build champion athletes on and off the floor. Up next is South Coast Freestyle!

The Story of South Coast Freestyle:

"Morgan Beckman started in the world of all-star cheer and dance in 1995! It's been a part of her life ever since! One of her favorite things about the studio is getting to teach and coach my own daughter, Piper, who's also grown an infinite love for all star dance!

South Coast Freestyle began over 20 years ago in the three-car garage of Lonna Albert. What started with a handful of dancers grew into a community built on hard work, friendship and a love for the dance. As the years passed, the studio moved from the garage into a studio, from local performances to national stages, and from a few dancers to so many athletes whose lives have been impacted in the blue walls of the studio.

No matter the growth, the heart of the studio never changed - it's always been about helping young people build confidence, develop character, create lifelong friendships and discover what they are capable of.

The studio now enters a new era under new ownership by Morgan Beckman. She looks forward to continuing to honor the heart and traditions of SCF, while also further developing SCF's identity."

Fun Facts about South Coast Freestyle:

SCF has attended every Dance Worlds since it's inception in 2007 and have earned 19 World Globes. Many of our SCF dancers are legacy dancer's whose mom's danced at the studio years ago! It's so cool to see all the family connections!
