The Story of NWA All-Star Dance:

"NWA All-Star Dance is owned by Britney Hanson and Lara Bowen, two women who recognized an opportunity to change the dance landscape in Northwest Arkansas.

Lara saw a growing need for dancers in the area to be better prepared for middle school,  high school, and collegiate dance team opportunities. Rather than simply identifying the gap, she went directly to the best resource in the state—the Head Dance Coach at the University of Arkansas. She approached Britney with a vision: what if we created a place where dancers could receive the training, preparation, and mentorship needed to reach that next level?

Britney brought more than 14 years of experience with National Dance Alliance, extensive coaching and choreography experience, collegiate expertise, and a deep understanding of what it takes to prepare dancers for the highest levels of performance.

Together, they turned that conversation into NWA All-Star Dance, a studio built to bridge the gap between traditional studio dance and dance team, while creating an environment where dancers can develop the skills, confidence, and character to pursue whatever comes next.

NWA All-Star Dance was created with a simple vision: to raise the standard for dance in Northwest Arkansas.

Led by industry professionals with decades of experience coaching, choreographing, judging, and teaching at the highest levels, NWA was created to give dancers a place where exceptional training and genuine team culture go hand in hand.

As Arkansas’ first studio dedicated solely to the all-star dance experience, we’re building more than teams! We’re building confident athletes, strong teammates, and the next generation of dancers who will shape what comes next."

Fun Facts about NWA All-Star Dance:

"NWA All-Star Dance is a brand-new program with a big vision and an incredible start. In our first season, we welcomed 71 athletes to our program, establishing a strong foundation for what we believe will become one of the leading all-star dance programs in the region.

As a new studio, we are focused on building the right way: intentional training, strong team culture, and a commitment to developing dancers both inside and outside the studio. While our story is just beginning, 71 athletes have already chosen to be part of it and we’re excited for what’s ahead."

What Makes NWA All-Star Dance Special:

"NWA All-Star Dance is special because our dancers get to learn from the people they look up to. Our coaching staff includes many current and former Razorback Dance Team members, giving our athletes the opportunity to train with local heroes who have already achieved the goals they are working toward.

Our dancers don’t just see these athletes on the sidelines, they learn from them, train alongside them, and build relationships with them.

Combined with our focus on elite training and intentional team culture, we’re creating a unique environment where inspiration and opportunity are right in the room."
