Seven Under Seven: Superstars In the Making!
Nothing’s more impressive than a tiny kid who performs like a seasoned veteran. We’ve been traveling the country, watching cheer competitions, and along the way we’ve spotted some superstars in the making. These are kids, despite their age, who know ALL their own counts backwards and forwards, as well as the counts of most of their teammates. They have that “it” factor and you can’t take your eyes off of them. They are a little more showy, a little more focused, a little more advanced, just little in general, and the MOST fun to watch! This is the first article of the athlete series, Seven Under Seven! We are sure there are more out there and we can’t wait to find them!

Seven Under Seven:

Adelina Prandi - 7 Years Old - Woodlands Elite

This is Adelina's fourth season of cheer. She absolutely loves to fly, tumble and dance. She can't wait to go out there and perform on the day of competitions and do her facials. Her new tricks are handstand to awesome, front one and halves, hand to hand-full to feet and she really wants her needle. She likes working on her half full with her tumbling. An interesting thing about her is that she wants AND searches to find a cure for her baby sister, Lulu, who has a catastrophic epilepsy called Infantile Spasms. She has won NCA, ACA, Wow tumbler, Wow jumps, Wow stunt at cheer practices and Golden Diva and Best Tumbler at her cheer banquet!

Taylor Tsao - 4 Years Old - Cheer Athletics

We spotted Taylor because not only was she the smallest member on her team but she knew her counts better than all the kids who were older than her. Taylor has been cheering for over a year now. Her favorite thing about cheering is jumps and “everything”! New tricks that she is working on are front walkovers and back extension roll. She loves veggies and playing soccer. An award that she won was Top Cat at choreography camp.

David Stone Blackburn - 6 Years Old - Bama All Starz

This is David's third year to cheer and he loves having fun and being with his friends. He is working on his standing full twist, he loves to dance and he just learned how to tie his shoes. He was the "Dancer of the Month" for Inside Cheerleader Magazine. He won the "Super Hero" Award at school last year and he received the "Bravo" Award in music.

This blonde flyer has been cheering two years and her favorite thing about cheer is flying. Her stage presence is hard to miss and she has really polished flying skills. She’s working on her back handspring, back walkover, back handspring. She loves chick-fil-a! A big award she received was the honor of being an NCA National Champion! (Scorpion photo is Taylor)

Caitlin Bloom - 6 Years Old - Victory Vipers

This bundle of energy has been cheering for two years now and before that she did gymnastics for a little over a year. She loves when her coaches work on “flyer moves” with her. She loves to tumble, dance, help her teammates and she loves her coaches. She is currently working on her back tuck & is excited about the trampoline she got for Christmas so she can practice at home as well. Caitlin is also on the Victory Vipers hip hop dance team. Her team has placed first in their division at every competition this year so far. Her favorite song is “Time To Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. She also loves “Phantom of the Opera”. Some honors she has received are first place in her hip hop team’s division all year, first place in a Halloween costume contest and in Kindergarten she won the “Happiest Student” award as well as perfect attendance.

Leni is a second generation athlete in her gym. Her mom also cheered for AS1 Coach, Karen Brenner, back in the nineties. She has been cheering since she was three years old and she is on a tiny level 1 team. She just learned her standing back handspring as well as her round off back handspring.
