This Saturday, January 30, FloCheer is live streaming from the first event in the Quest for the Best series. Spirit Brands’ Northeast Championships brings out some of the best teams on the East coast and one program that is consistently strong is Jersey Pride, from Sewell. They are in their tenth year of producing outstanding athletes. In 2014 they moved into a 25,000 square foot facility to accommodate their growing program. Remaining successful for a decade in the world of AllStar cheer says an enormous amount about a program, especially from South New Jersey where the competition is fierce.
Jersey Pride is home to many outstanding athletes but one particular athlete is a stand out within the program. Julie Rossiter is a member of their Small Coed 5 Worlds team Liberty, and she simply shines. Julie is no stranger to all star cheer even though she is only 13. She has cheered for the Philadelphia Jr Soul as well as Titan cheer. This is her third year on a Worlds All Star Cheer team. Watching her tumble will explain why she is amongst the elite athletes on Liberty. She is beautiful and powerful as she floats across the floor throwing her full and double twists. The last few years Julie was a key flyer and this season she shows some muscle with tremendous basing skills.

This Jersey Pride team is a family affair as well. Julie’s four year old sister, Jocelyn, is one of Jersey Pride’s Baby Bells. Julie has to step up her game knowing her little sister is watching every move.
Tune in to FloCheer this Saturday and see Jersey Pride take the floor along with the talented, Julie Rossiter and many more!
