The International Open Small Coed Level 5 division made its debut at The Cheerleading Worlds in 2016, and it is here to stay! Teams are back for round two this season, and we can't wait to see who will become the second team to take home the division title in Orlando, FL, on April 29 to May 1! 

Each country has up to three teams representing it in the finals. The United States and Canada had three finalist teams apiece in 2016, and the U.S. teams each took home a medal!

Spirit Of Texas is a program known for its elite skills and difficult tumbling. It was no surprise that Remix IOC5 were the 2016 bronze medalists. They really focused on the details of their skills and executing them properly, especially in their synchronized cross tumbling passes. This year, Remix won't be competing in this division which leaves another spot in finals open to a U.S. team!

A successful program from Schertz, Texas, Stars Vipers competed at Worlds for the first time ever last year! The Anacondas made a name for the gym in the International Open Small Coed Level 5 division by bringing home the silver! Their impressive Worlds debut proved that they are a team on the rise in this division.

Stars Vipers' technique sets them apart from many of the teams in this division. The Star Vipers hit their skills sharper than most and make them look effortless.

The first-ever International Open Small Coed Level 5 winners were the Cheer Athletics Swooshcats! They blew the crowd away with their creative entrances into their spinning skills and their innovative choreography. The Swooshcats are having another successful season this year. They left NCA Nationals as national champions back in February. If they perform the same way they did in Dallas, we may see them become back-to-back world champions!
