IOSC6 Prepares For Battle At Worlds

The 2016 Cheerleading Worlds was the first year for the International Open Small Coed L6 division, and GymTyme Allstars Jade was crowned its first-ever champion.

Although the division is still young, it’s a must-watch show with college-level athletes performing some of the most elite skills at The Cheerleading Worlds.

In 2017, Top Gun All Stars debuted their first team in the division, SICk6. Being their first year with a team in the young division, SICk6 went to the championship with the goal of just hitting their routine. Little did they know their routine would floor the judges and earn them a gold globe and the top spot in the division!

SICk6 is on fire again this season with powerful choreography and an elite stunt sequence that is sure to make your jaw drop. The Miami team took first place at NCA All-Star Nationals and the UCA International All Star Championship, so you can bet on another big showing from SICk6 at Worlds.

Pacific Coast Magic’s newest team, CO-X6, is another team that should be on your radar while you watch the division.

You wouldn’t guess that it was CO-X6’s first year as a team, as they’ve had a strong season with big wins at the USA All Star Championships and Spirit Sports Duel In The Desert, where they won their bid to Worlds.

Will their strong talent earn them a globe on their first run to the World Championship? Be sure to tune in to FloCheer to watch CO-X6 make their Worlds debut April 28-30 in Orlando.

The California All Stars Reckless took home the silver globe at The Cheerleading Worlds 2017, and they're hoping to snag the top spot this time around. Reckless has had a solid season so far taking second place at both Spirit Sports Duel In The Desert and NCA All-Star Nationals.

Reckless always puts on a show and their new throwback-style uniforms will catch your eye as soon as they take the mat. Will the California team turn their year of silver into gold at The Cheerleading Worlds?

Two other must-watch teams this season are Rockstar Cheer Metallica and Cheer Athletics Coalition 6.

Metallica is a first-year team out of South Carolina. The talented athletes put on a show early this season at CHEERSPORT Nationals where they took the Level 6 title and earned their bid to Worlds. To make their win even more impressive, it was Metallica's very first competition as a team!

Coalition 6 has always been a top-notch team in IOSC6 but fell just short of Finals last season at Worlds. In true Cheer Athletics fashion, Coalition 6 has been putting in work all year long to climb up the ranks in 2018. The Texas team delivered two fierce performances at NCA All-Star Nationals in Dallas to take third place behind Cali Reckless and earned an impressive Final score of 94.08.
