Only THREE weeks until the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds kicks off in Orlando, Florida! The best of the best Level 5 and 6 teams will go head-to-head for a chance at a world title, and they’ll stop at nothing until the fight is over.
The Senior Small Coed Level 5 division never ceases to amaze cheer fans from all over, and last years 2017 world champion had the arena spinning! Brandon All-Stars Senior Black was sitting in the top spot after semis and brought the heat to finals, crowning them back-to-back world champions.
This season, the reigning champs started their year with a win at The Cheer Alliance but have played tug-of-war with Twist & Shout Diamonds for the title every competition since. BSB took second to Diamonds at The MAJORS but topped the division once again at CHEERSPORT in Atlanta.
Will Brandon All-Stars win the battle and go for a three-peat at Worlds 2018?

Prodigy All Stars Midnight was the 2017 Cheerleading Worlds runner-up, taking one step up from their previous bronze finish in 2016. Their fast-paced routine was packed with multiple spinning skills, unique transitions, visual stunts, and more spins!
Midnight has consistently placed near the top this season with a second-place finish at NCA All-Star and landing in the top five later on at UCA IASC.
Will Midnight take another step up this year on the podium and claim the top spot?

KC Cheer FIERCE FIVE shocked the competition last year with their surprising bronze finish. The team was ranked sixth after semifinals and did enough in the final competition to bump themselves up to the third-place spot! The team went from the top five in 2016 to the top three in 2017.
FIERCE FIVE has been on Twist & Shout Diamonds heels all season long, placing just behind them in second at America's Best Kansas City and again with a third-place finish at UCA IASC.
Will FIERCE FIVE be fierce enough to place themselves even higher at Worlds?

Twist & Shout Diamonds have also had a successful season so far. The team had a big win at The MAJORS and took back-to-back titles at the 2018 NCA All Star National Championship and came in with a close second behind SMOED at UCA IASC. Diamonds finished in fifth at the 2017 Cheerleading Worlds, and there's no hiding the fact that Twist & Shout wants a comeback!

The California All Stars SMOED is definitely a top team to keep on your radar, as they are no stranger to the Worlds podium. The team started in 2011 and was crowned world champions four straight times from 2012-2015.
They might have placed fourth at the 2017 Cheerleading Worlds, but SMOED has been on fire in 2018 and beat out all four teams on their first run at the 2018 UCA International All Star Cheerleading Championship!
The California All Stars are back and ready to fight for the top spot at the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds. Was UCA a glimpse of what the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds outcome will be? Or will things be shaken up a bit in the Senior Small Coed L5 division?
