The Unpredictable: Senior Small All Girl Level 5

If one thing’s for sure, it’s that the Senior Small All Girl Level 5 division will have you on your toes guessing who will take home the next 2018 Cheerleading Worlds championship. This unpredictable division is one of the most exciting to watch year after year, and the competition is only getting better in 2018.

ICE Lady Lightning is the 2017 Cheerleading Worlds reigning champion. This season, Lady Lightning placed third at both the 2018 NCA All-Star Nationals and The MAJORS, falling behind Cheer Extreme SSX and Woodlands Elite Generals both times.

FloCheer caught up with Lady Lightnings head coach, Shannon Young at The MAJORS and he said ICE normally reaches their peak performance in April, just in time to take the mat and put on a show at Worlds.

Will ICE Lady Lightning strike twice at the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds and go back-to-back?

Cheer Extreme Raleigh SSX has had quite the successful season so far! The team received first place the 2018 NCA All-Star National Championship and CHEERSPORT. And they didn’t fall far behind at the 2018 MAJORS and UCA International All Star Championship placing second at both events. SSX has shown consistency throughout the season, placing among the top spots each time.

Will they conclude their season with a big win at the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds

Woodlands Elite Generals are always at the top of the must-watch list, and nothing has changed this year! The Generals finished silver last year at the 2017 Cheerleading Worlds and they aren’t making the competition any easier on their opponents this season. The Texas ladies finished in first at the 2018 MAJORS and followed behind SSX at NCA All-Star in second place.

The last time Generals claimed gold at Worlds was 2015, will they bump back to the top spot this season?

Brandon All-Stars Pink has collected a few titles this season since making the switch from Medium to Small. The team took home first at the 2018 UCA All Star, placing just above Cheer Extreme SSX. The division better watch out, because Pink is looking to slide right into one of the top spots at the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds. Does Brandon All-Stars have what it takes to take down their competition?

Top Gun Angels is another team you can't leave off your watch list on Worlds weekend. Angels placed in the top 10 at the 2017 Cheerleading Worlds with their inspiring Orlando Stong-themed routine. They have been near the top at every competition with a second place finish at CHEERSPORT, sixth at NCA All-Star and fourth place at UCA IASC.

The Angels haven't topped the division yet but don't count them out. Can Top Gun reach their performance peak at Worlds 2018?

These teams in the Senior Small All Girl Level 5 division are all over the place, which makes for an anticipated competition! Be one of the first to see these teams take the stage!
