5 Gifs That Accurately Describe Summer Practices

Summer practices are something all star cheerleaders look forward to every season. It’s the only time of the year you can work on new skills without the pressure of having to compete them right away.

These practices give teams a chance to find their chemistry and build on the skills they hope to conquer by Worlds. But as much as we love summer practices and what they do for our seasons, they can be quite challenging.

To help you laugh off the soreness and get through your next five-hour tumbling camp, here are five memes that perfectly describe summer practices.

1. You're Literally Melting

It’s like your gym’s air conditioning just magically disappears on the days you have a long practice.

But you just landed that new tumbling pass you have been working on for a year so it all evens out!

2. Sunburn & Baskets Just Don’t Mix

Your family vacation to the Bahamas was a blast and you got oh-so tan, but now you’re regretting your minimal use of SPF as you work on baskets with your new stunt group.

3. For Every Win, There Are A LOT Of Fails

Working on new skills is exciting but hitting a new skill is hard. Nine out of 10 times your stunt group ends up in a pile on the ground.

4. So. Much. Conditioning.

Champions are built in the summer. Conditioning is never fun, but we all know it's worth it in the end.

5. All The Love For Your New Teammates

Nothing gets you "in your feelings" like bonding with your new teammates. Hold on to these summer memories, because they will help you stay positive and connected as the season goes on.
