5 Things We Learned At Blue Debut 2018

Blue Debut 2018 was an incredible start to our Saturday!

It was a morning full of show-stopping performances. We saw new Worlds teams with so much talent and potential, SwooshCats made their debut in the Open division and RubyCats earned a hit zero in October.

We have so much to say after what we witnessed today but without getting too long winded, here are 5 quick things we learned from at Cheer Athletics Blue Debut 2018.

1. Panthers Are Ready To Put Up A Fight

Without a doubt, Panthers are ready to defend their title. Last season the Babs showcased an all girl single base hands full around and today they stepped it up with an all girl purdue up to hand in hand. Our jaws were on the floor throughout their entire elite stunt section and we can’t wait to see how they progress this year.

2. Wildcats Are New & Improved

Wildcats look so good and its only October. They’ve got a whole new flare and attitude about them that keeps you entertained from start to finish. Their routine is filled with unique choreography that connects every section seamlessly and keeps your eye bouncing around the mat in the search of the next great element.

3. SassyCats Are Summit Ready, Today.

SassyCats took gold at The Summit in 2018 and you will for sure see them on the Finals mat again this season. The performance this Senior Medium 4 team gave today is unmatched. They are skilled, confident and ready to defend their title in 2019.

4. Cheetahs Basket Section... WOW.

If you haven't seen Cheetahs basket section, you are in for a pre-Halloween treat. The reigning World Champions debuted a flawless all-male kick full, kick full basket today and the crowd went WILD! This team has so much talent and their performance is only gonna get better from here.

5. How Many Spins Can SwooshCats Do In One Stunt? The Limit Does Not Exist.

SwooshCats had their first performance today since moving to the Open Small Coed 5 division and it was a success! Their stunt sections are jam-packed with twists and spins that will make you dizzy. They performed with confidence and you can already see it's going to be a good year for this team.
