How It Works: The Cheer Alliance Championship

Showcases are over, and the 2018-2019 competition season is finally here.

Can you believe it?!

The first major championship event weekend is here, and it all takes place in Louisville, KY.

Some of the most elite Level 5 teams will be taking the mat Friday, December 7th at The Cheer Alliance Championship to compete their new routines for the first time this season.

The Cheer Alliance Championship is set up a little bit different than the average competition so we thought we would lay out all the details, so you can watch the event like a pro.

Here's How It Works:

Located on each side of the competition floor, there is a Leader’s Lounge for both the coed and all girl teams.

As team’s finish their performances, they’ll head over to the leader’s lounge. If their score remains on top throughout the night – they get to stay and watch the competition from the best seat in the house. But, if a new team receives the top marks, they will become the new leaders and will take their place in the Leader’s Lounge.

Teams will be competing head to head throughout the entire night. At the end of the evening, there will be only two teams standing, one coed and one all girl. From there, it’s up to the judges to name our 2018 Cheer Alliance Grand Champion.

In 2017, it was a Cheer Athletics party when Panthers topped the All Girl Divisions and Cheetahs took first in the Coed Divisions. In the end, it was Cheetah who took the title of Grand Champion.

Who will top the divisions in 2018? We can't wait to find out!
