The reigning Medium Senior All Girl World Champions: Top Gun Lady Jags, were amongst the 25 other teams attending The MAJORS 2019.

Thursday Night: Athlete Celebration

The MAJORS Athlete Celebration is always the perfect way to kick off the event weekend. The love and passion throughout the evening were moving as so many world-renowned gyms came together for a night to dress up, celebrate their accomplishments, and not worry about the competition ahead.

The celebration was filled with reunited friends of different teams, a sneak peek of the stage that the athletes would be competing on, and an inspiring presentation about social media influence.

Friday Morning: MAJORS Practice

With an early start to the day, Top Gun Lady Jags wasted no time getting their energy up for their Friday morning practice in the MAJORS arena! “It was a good preview of what it would feel like to compete that night. It helped the team mentally and physically prepare for their performance ahead of time,” explained Lady Jag, Isabella Morales.

The next "to-do" on Lady Jags' list involved simply getting lunch, resting, and of course, getting ready for their MAJORS performance later that evening.

Friday Night: The MAJORS 2019

After a long day of preparing for their competition, the time had finally come to take the stage. Of course, with every competition comes to the pre-rituals and superstitions. For Lady Jags, like many other teams, that consists of blasting music prior to warm-ups to get the energy up and the jitters out.

From the moment these girls took the warm-up mat, it was nothing but great vibes and high energy. They stuck together as one through the obstacles they were faced with and made sure it didn’t stop them from reaching their goal. As their performance time got closer, the music got louder and the dance moves got funnier! Jamming to High School Musical, the girls were reminded to remain a team and "keep their head in the game."

After a quick prayer and a few motivational pep talks by coaches and athletes, Lady Jags took the stage to accomplish their main goal; “to hit and look good doing it!”
