It's going to be an exciting weekend as talented all star dance teams travel to Texas to compete at the 2019 NDA All-Star National Championship.

Multiple Partial-Paid and At-Large Bids to The Dance Worlds are up for grabs and we can't wait to see which teams will rise to the occasion and take home a bid.

The process for awarding bids is as follows:

PARTIAL PAID BIDS

6 PARTIAL PAID (5 SENIOR AND 1 OPEN) bids will be awarded.

The National Champion in each of the following Senior divisions will receive a PARTIAL PAID bid.

• Senior All-Star – Pom*
• Senior All-Star – Jazz or Contemporary/Lyrical*
• Senior All-Star – Hip Hop*
• Senior All-Star Coed – Hip Hop*

In the event that a National Champion team already has a PARTIAL PAID bid from another event producer, that PARTIAL PAID bid will be passed down to the next highest scoring team in that division category without a PARTIAL PAID bid. The fifth senior PARTIAL PAID bid will go to a team placing in the top three of these divisions and will be awarded at the discretion of NDA based on score and placement within the division.

*In the event a category splits, the bid will go to the team with the highest score between the small and large division.

The highest scoring National Champion in one of the following division categories will receive a PARTIAL PAID bid.

• Open – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical
• Open Coed – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical
• Open Male – Hip Hop

In the event that the highest scoring National Champion team already has a PARTIAL PAID bid, the PARTIAL PAID bid will be awarded to the next highest scoring National Champion team out of these divisions.

AT-LARGE BIDS

12 AT-LARGE (5 SENIOR, 3 OPEN and 4 FLOATING) bids will be awarded.

The five highest scoring teams in each of the following Senior divisions will receive an AT-LARGE bid.

• Senior All-Star – Pom, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, Hip Hop
• Senior All-Star Coed – Hip Hop

In the event that a team already has an AT-LARGE bid from another event producer, that AT-LARGE bid will be passed down to the next highest scoring team within these divisions.

The three highest scoring teams in each of the following OPEN divisions will receive an AT-LARGE bid.

• Open – Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical
• Open Male – Hip Hop
• Open Coed- Jazz, Pom, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Lyrical

In the event that a team already has an AT-LARGE bid from another event producer, that AT-LARGE bid will be passed down to the next highest scoring team within these divisions.

NDA will award the final 4 AT LARGE bids to teams within all qualifying divisions based on a combination of score and division placement.
