Division History

The routines in the Senior Small Coed Level 5 division never ceases to amaze cheer fans and this year the race for the division title is closer than ever.

There have only been two World Champions in this division since 2012, The California All Stars SMOED and Brandon All-Stars Senior Black.

SMOED took the title four straight times from 2012-15 before Brandon Senior Black topped the division back to back in 2016 and 2017.

The Senior Small Coed division remains one of the most competitive divisions at Worlds and with so many strong contenders, the title is anyone's game.

CHEERSPORT Nationals 2019

Brandon All-Stars Senior Black

At CHEERSPORT Nationals, Brandon All-Stars Senior Black came out swinging with an impressive routine and some extra added flair that fans aren’t used to seeing in a BSB routine. The Florida team has incorporated a “Black Magic” theme to their routine this season and their stunting abilities are stronger than ever.

Premier Athletics Great White Sharks took home second place in Atlanta followed by Pro Cheer Eagles in third and Florida Top Dog Rain in fourth.

NCA All-Star Nationals 2019

Prodigy All Stars Midnight

At NCA All-Star Nationals, Prodigy All Stars Midnight made it known that they are no longer an underdog in this division.

Midnight stunned the Arena on Day 1 taking home one of the highest scores any team has seen at the championship, an incredible 99.50!  The Texas team went on to claim the championship title with a Final score of 99.1250.

The California All Stars SMOED placed second with a Final score of 98.8125 followed by Woodlands Elite Recon in third.

UCA International All-Star Championship 2019

Brandon All-Stars Senior Black

At UCA, Brandon Senior Black claimed the championship title after a close race with SMOED. Both teams hit zero deduction routines on both days in Orlando but Black had just enough edge to beat out the reigning champions for the title.

Florida Top Dog All Stars RAIN earned their first hit-zero routines of the season at UCA and are sure to be a team to watch as they head back to Orlando at the end of April.

Prelims for the L5 Senior Small Coed division will take place starting at 1:35 PM ET on Saturday, April 27th in The Arena. Be sure to arrive early because this is a division you won’t want to miss!
