The time of year we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! The Cheerleading Worlds 2019 is the most anticipated competition of the season and although you’ve been following your favorite teams throughout the year, anything can happen on the Worlds mat. 

FloCheer is going to break down all 22 divisions so that you will know what to expect in Orlando, Florida!

Senior Large Level 5

Division History

This season, the Senior Large Level 5 division has been one of the most entertaining to watch. Year after year, this is definitely a crowd favorite at The Cheerleading Worlds, and this year won't be any different! 

The Senior Large Level 5 division always packs the house when Finals comes around. Last season, 12 teams competed in the Senior Large division, and the top 10 received another chance to compete in the Final competition for a World title. For the past three years, a different team has taken the podium as Gold Medalist.

GOLD: Cheer Athletics Panthers

The Panthers from Cheer Athletics broke the curse last year after winning both NCA All-Star Nationals and The Cheerleading Worlds in one season! 

These ladies always take the floor with no fear and determination and this season has shown no different. The team started their routine with some of the most synchronized and high flying baskets we've ever seen! Their energy and incredible skills carried throughout the routine, sending them straight to the top of a World title.

SILVER: World Cup Shooting Stars

The Shooting Stars from World Cup brought the crowd to life after performing a globe worthy routine in Finals at The Cheerleading Worlds 2018. Their variety of tumbling and stunts set them above others when it came to difficulty and their circus theme just added to the excitement!

BRONZE: The Stingray Allstars Marietta Orange 

The Stingray Allstars Marietta Orange always brings energy to a room and in this case, the entire Arena! Their execution of skills set them apart from the competition, sending them into the top three. This season, the ladies of Orange have shown no weakness and we can't wait to see them take the Worlds mat.

Cheer Extreme Senior Elite showed up in Atlanta, Georgia and made a statement after claiming the top spot in one of the most competitive divisions at CHEERSPORT Nationals! The Stingray Allstars Marietta Orange came in second behind Senior Elite with Cheer Savannah Allstars Lady Lace in third. Could this be the year for Senior Elite?

NCA All-Star Nationals 2019

The Stingray Allstars Marietta - Orange

Just when you thought you had it figured out, The Stingray Allstars Marietta Orange comes out on top at NCA All-Star Nationals over Cheer Extreme Senior Elite who received second place. Following behind them in third was Maryland Twisters F5. Will the match up for Senior Large be between these teams, or will a new team slide into the top spot?

UCA International All-Star Championship 2019

Cheer Extreme - Senior Elite

Once again, Cheer Extreme Senior Elite takes home another title at the UCA International All-Star Championship in Orlando, Florida! These ladies have been on fire all season long and their chances at globing at Worlds are looking pretty high. What do you think?
