Non Tumbling, No Problem: The First IOCNT Champion Will Be Crowned

The time of year we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! The Cheerleading Worlds 2019 is the most anticipated competition of the season and although you’ve been following your favorite teams throughout the year, anything can happen on the Worlds mat!

FloCheer is going to break down all 22 divisions so that you will know what to expect in Orlando, Florida.

International Open Coed Non Tumbling Level 5

History will be made at Worlds 2019 when the first ever L5 International Open Coed Non Tumbling World Champion is crowned. This brand new division is filled with teams from across the country who are ready to battle against each other for the first time ever Apr 27-29, 2019.

For those of you are new to all the Non Tumbling fun, here is how the division works.

The Non Tumbling routines have a maximum time limit of two minutes. Within the two minutes, teams of 16-30 members will perform elite routines that include only stunts, choreography and jumps - no tumbling.

While the performance time may be shorter, they are definitely not easier. With more stunts comes a higher risk of a fall or mistake so these teams have to be on their A-game for every performance.
