Signs, Poms & A New Division To Watch At Worlds

The time of year we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! The Cheerleading Worlds 2019 is the most anticipated competition of the season and although you’ve been following your favorite teams throughout the year, anything can happen on the Worlds mat.

FloCheer is going to break down all 22 divisions so that you will know what to expect in Orlando, Florida!

International Global Level 5

One of the newest and most anticipated divisions of the season is International Global Level 5. The Global divisions will incorporate the traditional style of cheerleading, with all star cheerleading to give teams the opportunity to compete with routines that align with the ICU routine format.

30-40 seconds of each routine will consist of a cheer and the music portion will be up to 2:30 of the routine.

Season Recap

Here’s a look back at some of the winners from the International Global Level 5 division from some of this season's major events! Will these teams medal at The Cheerleading Worlds 2019? We can’t wait to watch these incredible teams take the Worlds mat!

Pac Battle Of Champions 2019

Vancouver All Stars Ice Queens

Vancouver Ice Queens are a must watch team in the division!

They feel that this division is where they will shine because of their close ties with ICU. Since Vancouver All Stars is one of the few gyms in Canada who allows their athletes to be on a Worlds team and on Team Canada simultaneously, most of the athletes on Ice Queens have experience with this routine layout.

Ice Queens shined at Pac Battle of Champions in Canada with a Final score of 96.14.

NCA All-Star Nationals 2019

Cheer Athletics LadyCats

Cheer Athletics has always been a pioneer and leader in the cheerleading industry so it is no surprise to see that they will be represented in this brand new division! The CA Ladycats established themselves in this division when they came out on top at NCA back in March.

Flyers All Starz Knockout are always a strong team to look out for at Worlds.

Knockout fell short to Cheer Athletics at NCA but earned the silver while getting a chance to compete against their U.S. competitors before arriving at Worlds. The talented ladies from Knockout were the 2017 International Open Level 5 World Champions and runners up in 2018.

They know what it takes to earn a place on the podium and are up for the challenge to return but this year, in a new division!

Other International Global 5 teams to be on the lookout for at Worlds are FCA Gems Onyx and Cheers & More Lady Rouge. Both teams are heading to Orlando on At-Large Bids.

Cheer Athletics Ladycats will be the first team to take the mat in the new division at Worlds. Ladycats will kick off the division in The Arena at 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 27th.

5 countries will be represented in the division including Japan, Canada, South Africa, Sweeden and of course, the United States.

Looking to watch all of the action? Tune in LIVE  April 27-29 to watch history be made as the first International Global Level 5 team is crowned World Champions!
