Small Gym September is finally here! All this month FloCheer is shining a light on the small gyms doing big things on and off the competition mat.

This summer we ran a contest to hear who YOU wanted to see featured on FloCheer. More than 5,000 small gyms were nominated and a total of 18,012 votes were cast. Four gyms were chosen and first up is Alliance Cheer Elite!

Alliance Cheer Elite is a booming small gym based deep in the heart of Texas.

10 Facts You Might Not Know About Alliance Cheer Elite

  1. Alliance Cheer Elite is starting their 3rd season as a program.

  2. The gym started with only 34 athletes.

  3. The first three teams were named Empire, Renegades and Revolution. 

  4. Alliance Cheer Elite has a gym-wide mission to give back to their community through Hero’s for Children.

  5. The program won the Go Be Great Award at the NCA Classic in Denton in 2018. 

  6. Won NCA All-Star in their first season as a program. 

  7. The gym is now made up of 33 All Star Prep athletes, 57 All Star Novice athletes and 79 All Star Elite athletes.

  8. Alliance Cheer Elite is expanding their gym to 22,000 square ft by mid September. 

  9. Their goal is to have their first team at The Cheerleading Worlds within the next 2 seasons. 

  10. The first Worlds team at Alliance Cheer Elite will be named Legacy.
