Canada's First Pair Of Full Paid Bids Have Been Awarded

Very few teams ever get the opportunity to say that they were a part of something when it was done for the first time.

In 2018, we crowned the first-ever XSmall World Champions.

In 2019, the first teams to perform routines with only stunts and pyramids and no tumbling at The Cheerleading Worlds graced the stage.

And this January, the first-ever opportunity for two Full Paid Bids at a single event in Canada took place, and two teams are leaving Feel The Power East feeling victorious.

One is a four-time World Champion, and one comes from a program very much on the rise on a global scale.

Cheer Sport Great White Sharks and ACE Athletics Riot were the two teams who did enough to come out on top and claim a Paid Bid after a strong weekend of Worlds-caliber cheerleading in Canada. Both teams had phenomenal Day 2 performances to lock up the bids and claim their spot in history.

It was an incredible moment as these teams were announced, and the joy was felt throughout the entire nation. Those Paid Bid announcements have been long-awaited, and Great Whites and Riot did not disappoint in the fight to get them. Congratulations to both teams, and we can’t wait to see you at The Cheerleading Worlds 2020!
