With the world is still suffering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, all star gyms and studios are being forced to make a tough decision. Wait out the storm or end their season so they can start fresh with their 2021 teams when this is all over.

In an announcement on Twitter on March 30, Woodlands Elite made the decision to end their season.

"We want to thank all of you for a wonderful 2019-2020 season. The memories shared will forever be cherished. After much thought and consideration, we believe it is in the best interest of our families to formally declare the season has come to an end. This means Woodlands Elite will not be attending The Summit or The Cheerleading Worlds if these events are rescheduled. With all the unknowns regarding COVID-19 currently, and the substantial financial hardships many of our families are facing, we believe this decision is not only responsible but necessary."

While WE are all sad about this news, we wanted to take the time to celebrate their season and take a look back at all the incredible moments from the year.

Fourteen teams from Woodlands Elite claimed bids to The Summit 2020. Commanders, Jr Ops, and SWAT all earned Full Paid Bids.

Generals, Recon, Black Ops, and Gunsmoke all secured bids to The Cheerleading Worlds 2020.

Woodlands Elite's newest team Gunsmoke, came out strong for their first season and earned a Paid Bid to The Cheerleading Worlds at Encore.
