With the world is still suffering from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, all star gyms and studios are being forced to make a tough decision: Wait out the storm or end their season so they can start fresh with their 2021 teams when this is all over.

In an announcement on Twitter on April 2, Maryland Twisters made the decision to end their season.

"We want to thank all of you for a wonderful season & your continued support in this matter! Our entire staff is sad about ending this amazing year, but we are all looking forward to new beginnings! Let the 2020-21 season planning start!"

We know Maryland Twisters will be back bigger and better than ever in 2021. So while we are sad we won't see this northeast powerhouse on the mat again this year, we wanted to take the time to celebrate their season and take a look back at all the incredible moments from the year.

We saw the Queens put on a show in the Arena at NCA All-Star Nationals and we all yelled "F5 Or Die" at the top of our lungs.

Eye of the Storm took home a set of championship jackets after an incredible performance at CHEERSPORT Nationals.

Maryland Twisters Supercells hit zero both days at NCA in the Level 6 Small Junior division.

Reign looked stronger than ever in their new division and finished in second place at NCA All-Star Nationals.

Fierce Winds, Lady T's, Lightning, Little Winds,  Supercells, Hazard, and Blaze all earned bids to The Summit 2020.

The Queens of F5 learned to trust in each other at CHEERSPORT.
