 L7 International Open Small Coed

Division History

The  L7 International Open Small Coed division has always been a fan favorite at The Cheerleading Worlds due to the high flying baskets and pyramids that are unique to Level 7. This division is highly anticipated because fans don't see the championship's most skilled teams as often throughout the season.

Of the 11 teams that hold bids this year in the L7 International Open Small Coed division, only two of them have claimed the top spot at The Cheerleading Worlds since the division was split into Small and Large Coed in 2016.

NCA All-Star National Championship

Ultimate Cheer Lubbock - Royal Court

Three teams met to compete for the L7 International Open Small Coed division title at the 2022 NCA All-Star National Championship. The teams had everyone on the edge of their seats this year in Dallas, Texas, due to an unexpected snowstorm that hit the central Texas area in the days leading up to the championship.

Varsity All Star made the decision to modify their scoring system for the weekend to allow teams with flight delays to still have a fair chance at the competition. For the teams who made it to Dallas on time for the event, the best score of their two performances would stand as their final score of the weekend.

After all three teams faced deductions in their Day 1 performances, Royal Court finished the weekend with a final score of 95.2 which helped them keep their spot at the top of the division and take the NCA All-Star National Championship title.

Cheer Extreme DMV - Savage 7 took second and The California All Stars Eclipse finished the weekend in third.

USA All Star Anaheim Super Nationals

CheerForce San Diego - Nfinity

CheerForce San Diego Nfinity dominated the competition on the west coast as they secured first place at the 2022 USA All Star Anaheim Super Nationals. The team finished the event with a final score of 93.7583 beating The California All Stars - Ontario - Eclipse who finished with a 93.2958. Nfinity was awarded first place as well as an At-Large Bid to The Cheerleading Worlds!
